Young Engineering Officer of the Year - Husnen Rupani
Husnen Rupani, a resource developer and sessional teacher at RMIT University – TAFE in
Melbourne, has been declared Engineers Australia’s 2006 Young Engineering Officer of the
Year.
The prestigious award, sponsored by Snowy Hydro, was announced before over 400 guests
who attended the 2006 Australian Engineering Excellence Awards dinner held at Parliament
House Canberra last night.
Husnen, who holds an Advanced Diploma of Electronics Engineering, was selected for the
award on the basis of his academic record and interest in professional, social and community
activities.
