Call for Nominations for (FEIAP) 2016 Engineer of the Year Award Wednesday, 13 January 2016

Engineers Australia International Committee is pleased to invite members to nominate for the Federation of Engineering Institutions of the Asia Pacific (FEIAP) 2016 Engineer of the Year Award.

The purpose of the Award is to encourage the engineers to make great contributions to the engineering within Asia and Pacific region. The Award shall be for substantial contribution to the advancement and development of engineering professions in the Asia Pacific region, and/or the progress of scientific research in the field of engineering.

The FEIAP Award is presented annually to an engineer having the highest standard of ethics and conduct, and who has made a substantial contribution in the field of engineering benefiting society as a whole.

As a member of FEIAP, Engineers Australia, through its International Committee will select a nominee with a recommendation to the Secretary General of FEIAP for consideration for the Award. The final decision on the Award will be made by FEIAP.

The Award is a certificate and a medal and commemorative souvenir which will be presented at the FEIAP General Assembly to be held in Perth on 8th July 2016. Travel to the award ceremony to receive the award will be at the member’s expense.

All nominations are to be completed in accordance with the prescribed form and submitted by 21 February 2016 to Phoebe Tan, Engineers Australia International Advisor at [email protected]

Please note that Section 6 of the Nomination Form does not need to be completed at the submission stage. This will be completed and signed by the Engineers Australia National President once the final nominee has been selected.
