Celebrating Canberra’s engineering community Thursday, 25 August 2016

The Australian Engineering Excellence Awards (AEEA) Canberra 2016 will recognise and celebrate some of the most impressive local engineering projects.

Engineering can be a demanding profession, with the constant challenge to deliver on clients’ expectations over tight timeframes and even tighter budgets. The AEEA Awards will recognise and reward those projects that pushed the boundaries of innovation and provided outstanding solutions that not only met, but exceeded, all stakeholders’ expectations.

The following seven projects have been nominated for the AEEA Canberra Awards:

  • Majura Parkway
  • Scrivener Dam Anchor Bolt Remediation
  • Moncrieff Residential Estate
  • Constitution Avenue Upgrade
  • Thredbo Valley Cycle Track, Bridges 4 and 5
  • Bowen Place Crossing
  • Capital Metro Light Rail

The winners will be announced at the AEEA Canberra Awards on Friday 23 September.

Don't miss this highlight of the local engineering calendar! Network with leaders in the industry over five-star cuisine and beverages, and soak up the atmosphere as we present these prestigious awards in style at the Hyatt Hotel's Federation Ballroom.
