The Agency was first established in Tasmania in July 2014. Following a commitment by the Australian Government in its White Paper on Developing Northern Australia, the Agency was expanded, with a second office officially opening in Darwin on 18 January 2016 to service major projects across the Northern Territory.
From their offices in Darwin and Launceston, the Agency’s staff members are able to provide clients with expert advice on what their Commonwealth, State and Local Government regulatory obligations may be and will work closely with them on the most efficient means in which to comply with them.
The Agency’s services are tailored to fit the needs of projects at the various stages of development. All services are free of charge and carry no ongoing obligation. Any information you provide to the Agency is treated as commercial-in-confidence. Developers can be assured that information shared with the Agency will not be disclosed without their consent.
