Introducing a new full signatory of the Washington Accord Monday, 20 June 2016

China, represented by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology (CAST) became full signatory of the Washington accord on the 2nd June 2016.

Holders of Chinese accredited qualifications completed in or after 2016 will be eligible for Membership of Engineers Australia as well as Migration Skills Assessment via the accredited qualifications pathways.

Whilst CAST is the signatory of the Washington Accord, the list of accredited courses is held on the website of the Chinese Engineering Education Accreditation Association, a body affiliated to CAST.

For the qualification to be recognised as accredited under the Washington Accord, it needs to be listed on the list of accredited qualifications and be completed in or after 2016.

Congratulations to CAST for their work over the last decade leading to successful recognition in the Washington Accords.
