A new home for Newcastle Tuesday, 03 May 2016

Message by Tim De Grauw FIEAust CPEng EngExec NERTim De Grauw FIEAust CPEng EngExec NER RPEQ, Engineers Australia Newcastle President 2016.

As the Engineers Australia Newcastle President I am very excited to advise all members of the decision to sell our current premises and move into cutting edge high grade facilities by early 2017.

Our new premises will be contemporary and professional, providing a much improved member and staff experience with open plan spaces, lounge areas and  informal meeting areas for members as well as 'drop in' workspaces, not to mention a more flexible auditorium space.

Our Parry Street premises are in need of substantial re-investment and are not consistent with the branding and look that Engineers Australia has been achieving through its investment in other offices such as Adelaide, Darwin, Hobart and most recently Melbourne.

I will endeavour to keep you posted as we move forward.

We look forward to the new premise becoming a vibrant meeting hub for members as we continue to engage with a range of external organisations across Academia, Government, Innovators, and Industry. Our trusted voice is becoming louder, stronger and more recognised.
