New project management and reporting system Thursday, 16 February 2017

A new ICT system designed to better assist the management and reporting of ACT Government capital works programs will be available for interested stakeholders from May 2017.

Known as P‑MARS (Project Management and Reporting System for capital works), this ACT and Procurement and Capital Works supported system will provide a standardised and streamlined approach towards the management and reporting of the capital works program.

P-MARS will provide industry with an efficient communication channel with the ACT Government to manage payment claims, invoicing, simple procurement, prequalification applications and to manage the update of insurances and other compliance matters.

In particular, P-MARS aims to simplify invoice payment processes and enhance the ACT Government’s ability to administer its contracts, with flow-on benefits to administrative efficiency for industry.

The implementation of P-MARS will commence in May 2017. An Information Sheet has been developed to introduce industry to P-MARS and explain how the ACT Government will work with industry to ensure transition to new arrangements.
