As our membership has grown, so has the need to keep pace with the requirements of our modern, vibrant members.
The vision for a collaborative environment for our members some four years ago is now coming to life. This includes many spaces for our members and engineering professionals to sit down and have a coffee, a client meeting, or even work remotely.
Our new facilities will be more accessible, bigger, and connected, truly a global home for the engineering profession.
What will the new facilities include?
The new facilities will have many state-of-the-art spaces for small or large meetings to discover, innovate and lead. These include:
- the Leadership Hub, ideal for boardroom meetings and leadership round tables;
- the Forum, a flexible auditorium with vistas across the city;
- the Innovation Hub, a large, flexible atrium space;
- the Assembly, an ideal space for casual meetings and a great break-out space;
- the Discovery Hub, a flexible presentation room;
- and the Learning Hub, a purpose built classroom for training days and other professional development activities.
The latest AV equipment will be at your disposal in these spaces including video conference facilities, even videography capability.
The building itself, Bourke Place, boasts a variety of eateries including cafes and restaurants, a supermarket, an ANZ Bank, a news agency, a shoe repairer, a dry cleaner and a taxi rank.
Who can use these facilities?
