Low-High-Low Industry Guide
From 1st May 2009, the Building Code of Australia requires that metal roofing systems used in cyclonic regions be tested to a new cyclic test method, referred to as Low-High-Low (LHL). The BCA ruling applies to all metal roof claddings, their connections and immediate supporting members. When used in cyclonic regions, these components must satisfy the requirements of the cyclic load test commonly referred to as LHL.
