For Non-Engineers Australia Companies or Organisations
Engineers Australia Queensland Division has a number of rooms available for hire to companies or organisations. Our venues suit meetings, presentations, small conferences, seminars or workshops. You are able to arrange your own catering and basic equipment is available for use.
When booking a meeting room or the auditorium for meetings, presentations, conferences, seminars or workshops the following are included by simply selecting them on your booking form:
- Room set- up
- Iced-water & glasses
- Telephone conferencing facilities
- Lectern & lectern microphone (in the Hawken Auditorium only)
- Registration Table

Hawken Auditorium
The auditorium seat up to 100 people and comes with video recording facilities (poa). Half day hire is $300 and full day hire is $614.
Mathison Room - CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE
This comfortable meeting room seats up to 10 people and has a conveniently located kitchenette. Half day hire is $140 and full day hire is $286.
Keays Room
This spacious boardroom seats up to 24 people. Half day hire is $192 and full day hire is $393.
Whitmore Room (library)
This small meeting room comfortably seats up to six people. Half day hire is $120 and full day hire is $245.
