Engineering Wonders
The Inaugural "The Engine Room" Publication
In 2010 the South Australia Division's Division Committee resolved to increase community awareness of engineering's broad purview and the contribution made to our state through the work that engineers undertake. It was decided to produce an "Engineering Wonder" publication which detailed some of the greatest projects undertaken in our state over the period 2000-2010. Early in 2011 Engineers Australia took a collaborative approach and developed, with The Advertiser, a publication which would be inserted with the daily newspaper. The Advertiser's excellent team of journalists, writers and photographers implemented the realisation of the Division Committee initiative and made it reality.
"The Engine Room" has become an excellent forum for promoting the crucial contribution that the engineering profession has made, with distribution to nearly 200,000 businesses and households. A copy of this publication in electronic format is below.
