Undergraduate Prize in Space Engineering
Nominations are now CLOSED
The prize recognises individual excellence in an undergraduate space-engineering project. The prize aims to:

encourage student interest in Space Engineering at the undergraduate level;
-
enhance student knowledge and application of Space Engineering disciplines; and
-
encourage academic participation in Space Engineering as part of undergraduate education.
The winner receives $2000 and a framed certificate.
2011 Winner - Lyle Roberts
The 2011 Undergraduate Prize in Space Engineering has been awarded to ANU student Lyle Roberts for his project "High-Speed Digitally Enhanced Heterodyne Interferometry".
Lyle is also the Engineering Category winner for the VSSEC-NASA Australian Space Prize, winners of which, go up for selection to join the NASA Academy for 10 weeks working alongside a principle investigator.
