2011 Year of Humanitarian Engineering Committee
Engineers Australia together with Registered Engineers for Disaster Relief (RedR) and Engineers Without Boarders (EWB) themed 2011 as the Year of Humanitarian Engineering (YHE). Main focus of the Sydney Division YHE Committee during 2011 was to recognise the role of engineering in improving quality of life and disaster recovery.
