Migrant Engineers

Please find below details of recourses based in Sydney with information about Courses, Employment opportunities and making connections with engineers currently working in Australia.

Richard Hanna of Engineers Australia Sydney Divison has been contributing to these programs as a guest lecturer, providing information about the resources Engineers Australia has to offer and sharing practical insights from his own experience.

Additionally, Richard has acted as an interviewer for the mock interview sessions. For these, students find a job advertisement relevant to their field, prepare all the necessary documentation and present themselves for a formal interview. The students receive feedback on everything from attire and deportment through to field knowledge, language and cultural appropriateness. This is invaluable as they face the daunting prospect of job interviews in the Australian context.
