Over seven modules, you'll build the professional skills and business acumen you need to practice independently, apply for more senior roles, or prepare for Chartered status.
Upon completion you'll earn recognition in the form of a digital badge and have a portfolio of evidence ready for your Chartered status application.

The program consists of a blend of:
- Self-paced online learning
- Interactive instructor-led virtual workshops
- Applied practice in the workplace
- Learning checks and assessments
Program outline
This seven-module program contains 48 learning hours. Core modules are designed to be completed sequentially:
- 5 July 2024: Program introduction
- Module 1: Safety in Design
- Module 2: Negotiation Skills and Influencing Strategies
- Module 3: Risk Management Micro-credential
- Information session: Micro-credential Assessment Tutorial
- Module 4: Writing Winning Technical Documents
- Module 5: Ethical Practice Micro-credential
- Module 6: Managing and Leading Others
- Module 7: Contract Foundations

Towards Chartered
This program builds skills and knowledge in the following Engineers Australia Chartered status element of competencies*:
