Thought Leaders Series: Preparing for mandatory sustainability reporting

3.00 pm — 4.30 pm AEST, 04 June 2024
Webinar

Overview

Join us for an insightful webinar where we delve into the intricacies of navigating the new mandatory sustainability and climate reporting landscape for businesses.

Under new Australian regulations commencing FY2025, companies will be obligated to disclose their sustainability metrics, encompassing actions to diminish greenhouse gas emissions, embrace renewable energy sources, and integrate sustainable practices across their operations. This mandate aims to foster transparency and accountability, enabling stakeholders and the public to evaluate a company's environmental footprint and sustainability efforts.

While this is a great move forward on Australia's road to net-zero, it can also seem overwhelmingly complex for businesses and organisations to know where to start in navigating the complexities of Climate Risk Assessments, Greenhouse Gas Accounting, Carbon Emission Reduction Strategies, and Reporting & Monitoring.

Key messages-

  • Strategies to prepare your business for FY2025 compliance and align with sustainability objectives.
  • Hear from global experts - we have distilled lessons from around the world.
