Engineers Australia Newcastle Division – Northern Rivers regional group

Serving our members and the engineering profession in the Northern Rivers region.

About the Northern Rivers regional group

Engineers Australia Newcastle covers a large geographical area and therefore we have a number of regional groups to assist our more remote members.

Our Northern Rivers group spans the area from Nambucca Heads to the Queensland border and includes postcodes in the range 2448 – 2493. The membership base in the area is approximately 550 engineers of various disciplines and expertise.

Northern Rivers group is led by an active committee who plan local CPD & social events. The group is also actively involved in supporting school programs to promote the profession to students who will become “Tomorrow’s Engineers.”

To enable our regional members to receive enhanced CPD opportunities, many of the events held in Newcastle are offered electronically via a webinar platform.  You may tune in ‘live’ to an event, or watch the recording in the days following the event.  Just ensure you register to attend before the RSVP date to have access to the webinar.

The Northern Rivers committee welcomes contact from anyone interested in hearing more about the group or who may have ideas for potential presentation topics or site visits.
