Coffee Club Mentoring: An Engineers Australia Initiative

What is Coffee Club Mentoring?

Now in its second year, the Coffee Club Mentoring program will unite industry leaders with students and graduates in the Northern Territory.

Following finalised registrations, mentees will be matched appropriately to a mentor based on a number of factors including experience, discipline and many more.

Held at the café area in the Engineers Australia Northern office, meetings will be arranged between Mentees and Mentors on Fridays from 2-4pm.

Why Coffee Club Mentoring?

Coffee Club Mentoring is an initiative that will foster a two-way working relationship between an industry-experienced engineer and a student, graduate or young engineer looking to make their mark on the world.

For a student, graduate, or young engineer, it’s your chance to learn from an established industry professional: One who has already walked the path you’re currently on. The aim of the program is to provide opportunities to support your engineering and career development.

As a mentor, you will be making a significant contribution to the development of young engineers in our community.  Across the table from you will be a student, graduate, or young engineer who is embarking on their own journey as a professional engineer. What you can offer them is sound advice, direction, and guidance gained through many years of your own journey.

Where will Coffee Club Mentoring be held?

Mentoring meetings will be held at Engineers Australia on Fridays between 2 and 4pm.
