About Engineers Australia's Qatar Chapter

Opened in 2015, the Qatar Chapter provides professional development, networking, Chartered support and corporate partnership opportunities to the engineering profession in Doha.

The Chapter holds a number of technical and social events throughout the year which are becoming increasingly popular and well-attended.

Recognition by Qatar's Ministry of Municipality and Environment

In 2016, Engineers Australia’s Chartered status was officially recognised by Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality and Environment. As such, Chartered members of EA applying to be a registered engineer in Qatar can be exempted from the Ministry’s assessment process, which usually involves an examination.

For more information about this recognition, please view our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document.
