This session will outline the provisions of the NCC and intent of the ABCB.
Building Construction Risk

Overview

Even with the advent of performance based codes, much building and construction is still done to code.

The ABCB is working to improve the understanding of the benefits of innovative design and how to deal with the concept of equivalent safety.

This event will outline the provisions of the NCC and intent of the ABCB. Some examples of safe design will be discussed emphasising the design processes employed.
