David Dewhurst Award Presentation

The David Dewhurst Award is the most distinguished accolade bestowed by Engineers Australia within the Biomedical Engineering discipline. At this event it will be awarded by BME College Board member, Bruce Morrison, to Dr John Russell, a specialist anaesthetist that has had an enormous impact on the BME profession over many years in the areas of standards development, training and education.

To complement the evening Professor Karen Reynolds will be sharing with us her insights, after 10 years of outstanding success, into the Medical Device Partnership Program. This program provides a mechanism for prototype development, proof of concept studies and clinical and market validation. It is poised to broaden its already substantial impact via a national rollout.

Please join us to share the evening with these esteemed professionals who have helped to define the Biomedical Engineering profession to date and continue to do so into the future.
