Meg Salter
Managing Director, Auridian

Meg Salter is one of Australia’s most energetic and influential business speakers and consultants. As the owner of Auridian Training & Consulting and with over 25 years’ experience in sales and service industries in Australia and the UK, Meg is dedicated to bridging the gap between what businesses are doing and what clients expect. Earning an exciting reputation as a speaker and executive coach, Meg has motivated countless delegates for a diverse range of companies nationally and internationally, and has been honoured to have been listed in speaker line-ups with global superstars including Stephen Lundin (author of FISH), Li Cunxin (Mao’s Last Dancer), Stedman Graham (Leadership Expert and Oprah’s boyfriend) and Wally Lewis (media personality and ex-NRL player). Between managing her business and travelling to clients nationally and internationally, Meg is the proud mum of two delicious and spirited young children who keep her happy, grounded and always in need of a beverage.

Stephen Young
Graduate Engineer, Calibre

Stephen is a graduate Civil Engineer in Calibre’s Water and Environment team. Stephen’s career path has been extensive and varied. He first obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Canberra and subsequently worked for the Commonwealth’s Department of Health (DoH) for 8 years in various project management roles. Stephen’s first passion, however, had always been engineering so whilst at DoH he decided that he wished to pursue a career in civil engineering. He successfully completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) from Deakin University via cloud-based learning. Stephen then worked for a local civil construction company as a Site Engineer where he established extensive networks in the local construction industry. All these experiences were invaluable and contributed to Stephen furthering his engineering knowledge and career with Calibre.

Annie Lane
Operations Manager, Nova Systems

Annie has been working in the Defence Engineering sector for ten years, both in private industry and in uniform. Annie spent eight years in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Aeronautical Engineering Officer, which included four years of initial training and completing her Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering at UNSW/ADFA. After separating from the RAAF, Annie joined Nova Systems as a Systems Engineering Consultant and worked on various Defence acquisition projects. She’s since been given the role of an Operations Manager in the large Canberra Office. Her role requires her to not only look after existing consultants but to hire new ones to meet the growing business resource requirements, including in various engineering skillsets, cyber security, communications and maritime. Annie is passionate about identifying the right people that fit the culture and needs of Nova Systems, including the growing Graduate program to develop the future skilled workforce. Finding the right resources is a challenge for all businesses and organisations, and Annie has a keen interest in innovative ways to approach this.
