Engineers Without Borders Makerthon Event

EWB’s Makerthon is a hackathon with a twist - work in a multi-disciplinary team over 3 days to develop practical solutions and produce a physical prototype to solve a real-world problem!


This year, in partnership with Choice, Passion, Life (CPL), teams will overcome a challenge on designing an inclusive society for people with disabilities.


The winning team will also receive ongoing support by Australia Young Engineer of the Year Stephen Bornstein and Substation 33 to refine their prototype with CPL!


  • Date & Time: 17th August Friday 6:00pm – 19th August Sunday 7pm
  • Venue: Substation 33 (31 Mary Street, Kingston 4114)
  • Tickets: $20 Individual Entry (Teams will be formed on the day)
  • Ticket price includes:

-          Entry and participation in the Makerthon

-          4 meals provided throughout the event

-          Complimentary tea and coffee throughout the event
