Speakers

Greg Williams
Director Engineering & Asset Management, Yarra Trams

Greg Williams is an asset management professional with 30 years experience in the care of physical assets.  He has worked in a variety of senior and general management positions with the Navy, Tenix, Transfield Services, Silcar, AGL, Alinta, Jemena, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Powercor. His career has included roles in systems engineering, project management, logistics support, quality management, maintenance and risk consulting.  Greg has a track record of achievement in leadership of asset management functions, enterprise and operational risk, regulatory compliance, business continuity and crisis and emergency policy.

Throughout Greg’s career he has remained keenly interested in maintenance and process safety practices.  He has delivered workshops and technical papers on risk, maintenance, life cycle costing, asset management and asset information management for a variety of clients and international conferences. He has developed and delivered graduate level courses on maintenance engineering and logical fault diagnosis at RMIT, and continues to contribute thought leadership in these areas.

 

Adam Hockey
Business Development Executive, Dulux Protective Coatings

Adam has worked for Dulux for over 20 years, his various roles included:
- Technical representative for Corrosion Protection, Concrete Protection, Tank Lining, and Intumescent coating systems
- Preparing Specification and maintenance programs for Infastructure, Commercial Construction, OGM and Power Generation
- Presents training on AS2312 and corrosion protection to asset owners, specifiers and students
Adam is a NACE Level 1 qualified coating inspector

 

 

Nick Kunzli

Nick Kunzli
Director, Specification Consulting at Schumann Consult Ltd

Nick joined Schumann Consult as a Director in mid 2015 after 7 years leading the West Australian region of Davis Langdon’s Architectural Specifications Consultancy Service, along with being the region’s Operations Manager.

Nick brings with him over 15 years’ experience working within a number of sectors across the building industry in Australia and the UK, and spent numerous years on site designing, building and project managing commercial and residential developments which gives him a unique insight into how a design translates into reality, and the challenges of buildability along the way.

 

Asanka De Silva
Director, Specification Consulting at Schumann Consult Ltd

Asanka has been a specification consultant for over 7 years and in the Architectural industry for circa 12 years. He has worked and been involved in projects in a variety of sectors such as Rail infrastructure, Health, Education, Residential and Commercial.
He is highly enthusiastic about ESD principles and materials, where research is a key component of his professional development focusing on materials technology, various science disciplines and engineering principles.
Asanka’s commitment to timeliness and his attention to detail ensures that high quality documentation is delivered and strict deadlines are met.
