As we get ready to announce Australia's top engineers and engineering projects during the national Pinnacles Awards Ceremony, how will you join the celebrations?

Join us on 9 November as we broadcast a live celebration of Australia’s top engineers and their projects! At 6.00pm AEDT the winners of Engineers Australia’s most prestigious awards will be announced at the Pinnacles Awards Ceremony.

The national ceremony will see Australian media personality Adam Spencer, Engineers Australia President Chris Champion, and CEO Dr Bronwyn Evans announce the winners of the following titles:

  • National Engineer of the Year Awards
  • Peter Nichol Russell Career Achievement Memorial Medal 
  • President's Prize
  • Sir William Hudson Award

 

Viewers will hear from the finalists and witness winner reactions in real time as we cross to locations across Australia and hear from the inspiring engineers behind engineering’s top projects.

Though our celebrations will vary across the country, there are several ways you can get involved:

Watch with your colleagues or networks

This is a great opportunity to get the engineering team together and celebrate, whether that’s via small groups in person or online. You can set up the broadcast cinema style from a meeting room or watch individually while speaking with each other through your platform of choice such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Webex. 

Livestream at home

Why not stream the ceremony on your home TV and celebrate with family or friends? Whether you’re with them in person or connected virtually, this is a great opportunity to introduce your loved ones to the breakthrough technology and innovations that being are driven by our profession!

Some of the ways to connect to your TV include:

  • Using a HDMI cable (or similar)
  • Mirroring your browser to the TV via a Chromecast (or similar)
  • Connecting wirelessly using your Smart TV,
  • Streaming off an iPhone, iPad or iMac connected to your Apple TV. 

You can use the video currently hosted in the awards platform to test your technology in the leadup and see which experience works best for you.

Watch on-demand

Can’t make the livestream on 9 November? That’s okay – the ceremony will be available to watch on-demand through the awards platform or on EA OnDemand shortly after the broadcast.

If you have previously registered to watch the local Australian Engineering Excellence Awards during September, you can use the same login to access the Pinnacles Awards Ceremony. Forgot your login details? You can select forgot password and follow the prompts to reset.

If you are new to the process, registration is now open to create a new account. Your login will provide you with the same access to watch the September events OnDemand, as well the Pinnacles Awards Ceremony on Monday 9 November.
