How to Succeed in that Interview - Mock Interview Workshop

What do they ask at interviews? How are Australian interviews run? What should I wear? How do I prepare for an interview?

If these are questions you have been asking then you should attend the How to Succeed in that Interview – Mock Interview Workshop hosted by the Overseas Qualified Engineers Group.

We invite you to submit an application for a pretend job advertisement. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to be mock interviewed at the workshop to practice their interviewing skills.

Constructive criticism will be provided by members of the panel and an open discussion will follow with the audience.

Please note: Those who will not be interviewed on the night are still welcome to attend

The workshop will be run by:

  • Tandy Pok Arundell, Research Engineer at the Monash University Accident Research Centre
  • Rob Lennox, Senior Project Manager on the Metro Trains
  • Etienne Chevaux, Resourcing Business Partner at Thales Australia

Mock Interviews

The mock interviews will focus on the general aspects of an interview process and will not be to complex. Each interactive Mock interview will run for approximately 10-15 minutes and will be front of an audience.
