Mackay Ring Road Site Tour

The Mackay Ring Road will reduce heavy vehicle traffic through Mackay, and provide an improved link from the south to the northern suburbs.

The project will be completed in 2 stages:
Stage 1—Stockroute Road roundabout to Bald Hill Road
Stage 2—Mackay Port Access Road, Bruce Highway north of Mackay to Harbour Road and the Mackay Port.

The Mackay Ring Road is being delivered as part of the Bruce Highway Upgrade Program. Total project funding for Stage 1 is $497.3 million (Australian Government $397.9 million, Queensland Government $99.4 million)

There will be a capacity of 9 people per session so spots are extremly limited, so if you register and then are unable to attend, please let us know so we can make that spot available for another person. 

Catering will be provided to those attending. 

The bus pick up point will be at the CPB office on Stott's Road (Between the rail line and Calrossie Road) and drop you back at that location once the site tour has finished. 

Please make sure you have the follwing PPE gear 

• Hard Hat 

• Steel Cap Boots

• High-vis full sleeve shirt

• Safety Glasses
