About the Speaker:

Neil Young (General Manager of ARI)

Neil entered the NDT industry in January 2000 and has worked in a broad range of industries including power generation, oil and gas, mining, pressure equipment, castings and fabrication. He is a Chartered Engineer and holds multiple ISO9712 L3 NDT certifications, welding and pressure equipment inspection certifications. Further to this Neil has undertaken research and development activities and has had his academic papers accepted at international forums. Neil is active in the professional community as a Director of the Australian Institute for Non-Destructive Testing (AINDT) and also for the Australian Institute for the Certification of Inspection Personnel (AICIP) and is an Australian Standards committee member for ME-001 Pressure Equipment. His company Asset Reliability Inspections offers a broad range of services with a significant client base from process plant, power generation, mines, defence, research and construction.
