The presentation will cover a broad spectrum of different IP rights and explain how they are created, what they provide and how they can be used, including monetised. Particular attention will be paid to patent protection and two fictitious case studies will be considered to help illustrate the concepts discussed. The session aims to equip attendees with an informed awareness of IP rights so that they are alive to their commercial and legal implications.
