Engineering Heritage Tasmania: Committee Meeting

Overview

Are you interested in engineering heritage - particularly promoting the conservation of engineering heritage, and representing Engineers Australia on heritage matters?

Engineering Heritage Tasmania (EHT) invite you to join their next sub-committee meeting as an observer to learn about their activities and how you might be able to contribute.

EHT, part of the national Engineering Heritage Australia group, runs heritage recognition and oral history programs, as well as occasional heritage lectures.

EHT also maintains a digital library and archives of engineering works, biographies of engineers, photographs and technical papers, including some searchable databases which can be accessed by contacting the Engineers Australia Tasmania team.

The EHT group also contribute to national engineering heritage activities. For example, Bruce Cole, an active member and past Chair of EHT, is Chair of the Centenary Book Committee that led creation of Engineers Australia’s two book publications for the Centenary.

Please register to attend; if you have further questions about the group please contact the Engineers Australia Tasmania team on [email protected]
