Unlock the power of Project Data Analytics

The future of Project Controls Reviewing our current practices in cost and schedule data management and looking into the future for where we can go with data analytics.
Unlock the power of Project Data Analytics

The business world is undergoing a seismic shift in data consumption.  This has been enabled by new data analytics tools such as Spotfire, Tableau and PowerBI.  Within the project controls environment the way we create and edit data has not kept up with the pace of change and significant opportunities exist to enable efficiencies in data management.

Darrin Kinney will walk you through the key aspects of project control system setup.  We will dive into how data is captured on projects and the reports that current project systems can provide. PowerBI examples will be showcased to highlight some key issues with interfaces and source data.

In conclusion we will look into the future for how new technologies can be used in the project environment.
