Lunch Club is a chance to connect with your peers, discuss topics related to employment, career opportunities and challenges, and share your collective wisdom.
Each session will cover a specific topic, starting with a short video to stimulate group discussion in a peer mentoring environment.
This month's topic is how to survive and thrive in the workplace - we spend most of our waking hours at work, and while for a lot of us it can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience, for others it can signal counting down the hours until escape. This session will explore what it means to have a healthy workplace and the steps you can take to change a toxic work environment.
We encourage you to bring your lunch and a willingness to contribute and share. Each session will be conducted under the Chatham House Rule.
The event will take place in our Hobart Office, but will also be available via video link for those in regional areas or for those that can't make it in person.
These events will run every two months, generally on the second Wednesday of the month.
Please note this is event is exclusively for Engineers Australia members.
