The Transport Australia Society SA is seeing out its 2019 activities with its Christmas event 'Transport modelling in the pub'. With transport modelling featuring more now than ever in the public sphere, including references in ABC comedies, it is time to join your colleagues in the pub to expand your understanding of the topic, network and reflect on 2019.
Dr Nicholas Holyoak from Flinders University will present Another Perspective on Land Use Transport Integration Models: Integrated Demand Forecasting for Household Transport, Energy, Water and Waste, allowing time for questions from the audience afterwards.
This will be followed briefly by the Transport Australia Society Annual Meeting, where 2020 office bearers will be elected. With formalities out of the way, guests can then relax and enjoy food and drinks with their colleagues.
5.30pm: Introductory drinks and nibbles
6.00pm: Dr Nick Holyoak Presentation (40 minutes with questions)
7.00pm: TAS Annual General Meeting with election of office bearers
7.30pm: Social food and drinks
