Overview

Power transformers are one of the most critical components of the electrical power network for power transmission and distribution. The challenge of preventing failures whilst maintaining good operating condition continues to be a growing concern amongst the utilities. This is heavily affected by the type of Transformer being used, particularly its installation & safety requirements and industry is constantly looking into innovative methods to determine the health of transformers and ensure optimum reliability and reduced maintenance costs.
This event will be dedicated to Power Systems Engineers discussing the pros, cons and applications of Dry vs Oil Type Transformers.
