EngTalk is a WA high school outreach program where professional engineers connect with WA high school students, to share their career journeys and passion for the engineering profession.
Volunteer for EngTalk 2020

This training has been postponed until later in the year

We are seeking volunteers for the 2020 program. Volunteers must:

  • Attend an induction and training session (see options below).
  • Prepare their own presentation and material for school visits.
  • Gain permission from employers to participate.
  • Be a financial member of Engineers Australia

All hours for preparation, induction and training, and participating at school events count as Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activity. It is also a great way to practice your public speaking skills!

Last year, we visited more than 30 schools and participated in over 10 industry events.

Experience has shown that not many actually understand what engineers do, what an important role we play in society and the fabulous career opportunities with an engineering

degree.
