What is Engineering Registration and how might it affect you?
Engineers working in Queensland, or on a Queensland project are required by the Professional Engineers Act (2002) to be registered with the Board of Professional Engineers Queensland (BPEQ). Similar legislation has been introduced in Victoria and will take effect from 2021.
Engineers Australia has been authorised by BPEQ to offer two pathways that enable an engineer to be registered as an RPEQ – by becoming Chartered or becoming registered on the National Engineering Register. It is expected that this will be replicated in Victoria.
This information session will provide an update on the different registration options and the adoption of the QLD model in Victoria. Learn more about both options offered by Engineers Australia and leave the session equipped with the knowledge to help make the right decisions for your career and meet your regulatory requirements.
This event is open to members and non-members of Engineers Australia, and we encourage you to invite friends or colleagues in the profession to attend.
