Responding to COVID-19: Our New Business Reality

Start time: 2.00pm AEST. Exploring the benefits of digital transformation in an unprecedented environment.
Responding to COVID-19: Our New Business Reality

Due to increasing community and government concern over Coronavirus, Engineers Australia has decided to temporarily suspend all face-to-face events. This includes events which meet our previously imposed attendee limits. We will continue to offer members access to our online events and services such as EA Xchange. We are also working hard to deliver more for our members in this area over coming months.

The economic impact of COVID-19 has dramatically affected us both locally and internationally. How can the engineering profession plan for a desirable economic future, and what tools can we use to ensure that we are not left behind when the world emerges from this pandemic?

In this presentation, our speakers will provide an overview of the current economic climate, the performance of the Australian and New Zealand construction industries and the global impact of COVID-19. They will discuss Governments’ response across industry sectors and share insights into how you can leverage digital solutions away from our usual operational assets.

Key Themes:

  • The role of the profession in the current economic climate
  • What’s next for ANZ in terms of future digital transformation planning
