Infrastructure Thought Leaders Series: Ceramic Rainscreen Façade Systems

Start time: 2.00 pm AEST. Explore innovative and unique facade designs that are taking advantage of emerging technologies and pushing the boundaries of traditional construction.
Infrastructure Thought Leaders Series: Ceramic Rainscreen Façade Systems

As governments and industry seek to select non-combustible facade systems, Rainscreen Facade Systems have enjoyed renewed popularity.

In this webinar, we will unpack the key design methodology for using ceramic rainscreen facade systems, citing a number of prominent project case studies from Australia and abroad that give insight into system design and creative application.

John Perry, a world-renowned facade engineer with over 30 years’ experience, will provide an overview of facade engineering design using project examples, and offering insight into the considerations and challenges that led to the final design.

Key Themes:

  • Best practice in facade designs
  • Challenges facing conventional facade designs
  • Boundary-pushing case studies
  • Innovation in facade construction and technologies
  • Case Study: University of Sydney’s LEES1 project
