Engineers working in Queensland, or on a Queensland project are required by the Professional Engineers Act (2002) to be registered with the Board of Professional Engineers Queensland (BPEQ). Similar legislation has been introduced in Victoria and will take effect from 2021.
Engineers Australia has been authorised by BPEQ to offer two pathways that enable an engineer to be registered as an RPEQ – by becoming Chartered or becoming registered on the National Engineering Register. It is expected that this will be replicated in Victoria.
This information session will provide an overview of both options to ensure that you make the right decision for your career and are able to meet your regulatory requirements.
You do not have to be a member of Engineers Australia to attend. Bring a friend or Colleague with you.
