The Tasmanian Diversity and Inclusion Group are excited to share the return of our Lunch Club series – an exclusive opportunity for local Engineers Australia members to come together and explore common issues.
Lunch Club allows Members to connect with their peers, discuss topics related to employment, career opportunities and challenges, and share collective wisdom. Each session will cover a specific topic, starting with a short video to stimulate group discussion in a peer mentoring environment, and is conducted under the Chatham House Rule.
This session we will discuss working from home during Covid-19 and how has it impacted our experience of work. These new working arrangements appear to be staying in some shape or form, but how is it going to affect your career going forward? Does it impact getting your voice heard or your point of view across? Are you receiving the appropriate mentorship to develop your career? Are you concerned about how working from home impacts your work/life balance? If so, please attend this lunch club event (in person) and be prepared to share and listen to a range of views to help shape how we adapt to the new working landscape. It will be hosted by Diversity and Inclusion group Committee Member Scott Sneddon, MIEAust CPEng.
We encourage you to bring your lunch and a willingness to contribute and share.
Please note: This event is for Engineers Australia members in Tasmania only. Due to social distancing requirements spots are strictly limited - register early to avoid disappointment. Attendees are encouraged to use hand sanitiser provide and must stay home if feeling unwell.
