Fire Safety Requirements of Applying Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) in Australia

The building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) products combine the function of traditional building components and photovoltaics. The application of BIPV products in Australia requires compliance with fire safety among all safety requirements in the Building Code Australia and relevant Australian Standards.

This presentation will discuss relevant DtS Clauses, required data, and the requirements in a Performance Solution to allow BIPV products in a building.

Speakers

M.C. Hui, FIEAust CPEng NER APEC Engineer IntPE(Aus)
