Engineering visit to HMAS Cairns. Tour of Fleet Support Unit workshop facilities and HMAS Leeuwin undertaking maintenance activities.

This site visit of HMAS Cairns will concentrate on the engineering facilities and capabilities with the Fleet Support Unit and also within a Naval ship. The tour will take 2 hours and will consist of a guided tour of the workshop and then a ship alongside the wharf.

The tour will terminate in the Naval Mess for self funded refreshments and discussion with navy personnel and networking with fellow engineers.

The site visit will display the engineering, sustainment and manufacturing capabilities within fleet support unit facilities.
