Geared specifically towards engineers and architects, the walking tour is a great opportunity to gain a technical insight into Darwin’s built heritage.

The tour will be led by Architect, Michael Wells from the NT Heritage Branch.

Michael will be joined by Structural Engineer, Terry O'Neill, who will contribute content on engineering aspects.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to learn about the history of buildings as well as their design characteristics, materials used and challenges faced over the years.

Michael is an architect and planner who has lived in Darwin for most of the last 30 years. He has been the Director of the Northern Territory Government’s Heritage Branch since 2015.

 

Terry O'Neill

Terry O'Neil
B.E. (First Class Hons)

Terry has been a consulting engineer and project manager in Darwin since 1973 on a wide range of projects from post Cyclone Tracy reconstruction to the more recent Darwin Waterfront and Convention Centre.
