Nolan has supplied project control and commercial management services on resources construction projects in Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand. Projects included construction cost up to $2 billion and plants to produce aluminium, copper, gold, nickel, cobalt, power from brown coal and marine frigates for defence.
Nolan's current position is Industry Fellow and Lecturer in Cost Engineering at Swinburne University of Technology. Nolan’s last industry position was as the Senior Analyst with Tenix Marine (since taken over by BAE Systems) which was completing the ANZAC frigate build and associated Defence projects.
