In the current disruptive times experienced by the Oil & Gas sector, every opportunity to identify cost savings is being eagerly sought out by an industry that is struggling to keep its head above water. However, cost savings do not have to come at the expense of Quality and Safety.
Join Partha Dev from ROSEN Australia as he debunks the myth that cost comes as a trade-off to quality and safety. Our live webinar event, organised by the Australian Organisation for Quality and partnered by Engineers Australia’s ‘Hydrocarbon and Energy Transition Group’ will look at ways in which standardisation can help. Partha will demonstrate how standardisation can deliver a Non-Zero-Sum game solution to the challenges faced by the Oil & Gas industry. The international standardisation efforts to deliver significant capital efficiencies, especially in offshore structures, will be a special focus of this interactive presentation.
Partha Dev has over 30 years of Structural Engineering & Integrity Management experience in the Oil & Gas sector. Partha has been in senior technical leadership roles on major capital projects including Gorgon, Wheatstone & North Rankin Redevelopment Projects for global operators Chevron, Woodside Petroleum and Engie. He is presently the Global Head - Structural Engineering for ROSEN Group (an international asset care company). He is also the first Australian Chair of the Standards Australia’s ME92-07 (Offshore Structures) Committee and the Project Leader of the 2nd edition of ISO 19901-9 (Structural Integrity Management Standard).
The webinar will be moderated by Suresh Prabhakaran, the AOQ WA Chapter Lead. Suresh is a Mechanical Engineer and he has worked as a Quality Manager with Shell and Rio Tinto.
