Julie McClements - CSIRO
Julie is based in Adelaide and has worked at CSIRO for 8 years working across a diverse range of projects from training and development to monitoring and evaluation. In her current role, she provides engaging opportunities for students and educators to see the interconnectivity of STEM disciplines through meaningful industry partnerships. Her passion for STEM in education is supporting and inspiring the next generation of problem solvers and innovators!

I am an electrical engineer and work for Hydro Tasmania, I undertake project work in the area of hydropower secondary systems. I spend my time designing and delivering control systems including automation, remote control and remote monitoring

I am a System Safety Engineer. I currently work for Nova Systems based in Melbourne. I currently work on large complex Defence engineering projects, across all domains, identifying, analyzing and mitigating hazards throughout the lifecycle of the project from design to disposal.’

I am a Deputy Principal, head of STEM and Innovation. I currently work for St. Raphael's Catholic Primary School based in West Preston. My role is to be a co-leader and co-learner at St. Raphael's, in particular, to improve student outcomes and to support and improve teacher capacity in the field of education, particularly STEM. I am currently working on an engineering pilot with Engineers Australia titled, 'E is for Engineering'
