Overview

As an engineer, have you ever felt frustrated when others (clients or colleagues) haven’t listened to a solution that you’ve offered?  Of course you have!   Humans are highly complex and interact with each other, in ways that seem unpredictable and illogical.  How do you deal with that?  This interactive workshop invites you to think about human how exist within systems, (such as families, teams, organisations and communities). Applying human centred system thinking models will help you to listen deeply and develop cognitive empathy, (to understand where a person is coming from), and consequently be more effective problem solvers and engineers.
