Overview
Join us as we look forward to the year ahead.
In the past decade, we’ve come a long way as an industry to improve gender diversity. With women only making up 14 percent of the engineering workforce, we also have a long way to go. It’s a road that all of us must travel together, so how can we achieve gender parity in engineering? And what is the role of men in helping to make it a reality?
We’ll be hearing from a panel of speakers, each a leader in our industry. Together, we’ll explore how we can move forward as a collective industry in improving gender diversity. Come away from this panel event with concrete steps that can be taken to improve gender diversity and a greater understanding of how we can all help achieve tangible progress.
In this presentation, you will:
- understand the progress and challenges in achieving gender diversity in engineering
- learn practical actions individuals and organizations can take to promote gender equity
- learn actionable steps for men and allies to take what they’ve learned about gender equality and bring these insights into their daily work environment
- learn how to effectively network with a diverse range of engineers across different disciplines, experience levels, and backgrounds.
