About the speakers

Al Parker was, until recently, the Completions Lead at Hub Laing O'Rourke. He has transitioned to lead the Assurance and Handover Team for the completion of the Morley to Ellenbrook (MELconnx Alliance) project. The 21 km Morley-Ellenbrook Line is one of Perth's most significant public transport projects in recent years and will provide residents and workers in the northeastern suburbs of Perth with more transportation options.
Al is a highly experienced Commissioning, Handover, and Operational Readiness Manager with over 15 years of experience in project delivery. He has developed and implemented commissioning standards and project management plans and has played a key role in establishing Laing O'Rourke’s core processes and systems for Commissioning and Completions. Al holds a Master of Science in Construction Management and is working towards becoming a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building.
