About the speakers

Richard Davies
Managing Director, Procare Cyber

Richard is Managing Director of Procare Cyber, providing cyber security advice, training, assurance and incident response services to technical teams and non-technical leadership across a range of corporate and government clients. He has over 20 years of experience in the cyber security sector, incorporating both pre and post-incident in the UK, Europe, Hong Kong and Australia. 

Richard has worked for PwC and Kroll and as an independent consultant. Richard is also an Assessor for the Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers (CREST). He was part of the team that managed breach notifications for the 2018 Marriott data breach impacting 300 million guests.

Jake is a Cyber Risk Solutions Analyst at Procare Cyber, providing cyber security advice, training, assurance and incident response services to technical teams and non-technical leadership across a range of corporate and government clients. Over the past five years, Jake has been involved in numerous investigations and security awareness uplift initiatives, as well as working on the cyber challenges faced by small businesses in Australia. 

Jake previously worked with Kroll, as well as in a breach notification post-incident role for a large medical insurer. He has given many talks, including to AWSN (Australian Women in Security Network), The International French School and Monash Security Champions.
